What do I need to provide for a consultation?
Your date of birth, time of birth and place of birth. Time matters most — the Lagna (ascendant) changes roughly every two hours, and it determines the house positions the whole reading rests on. If you do not know your exact birth time, say so and the reading is based on the Moon chart instead, which is still meaningful but less precise on timing.
How is this different from a free online kundali report?
A generated report applies fixed rules to your chart. A consultation is a person reading that chart in the context of the question you actually asked — including the parts of classical Jyotisha that need judgement, such as whether a dosha is genuinely cancelled, which dasha period dominates, and which of several competing indications carries more weight.
